 Time for a change
Well, I am in a debate with myself.  I am a tad bit overweight at the moment and have decided its time for a change.  A few years back I was 135 lbs, got up to 196 lbs, now I am at 180.  I am trying to decide between Slim in 6 or Turbo Jam.  Have heard good things about both and bad things also.  I would love to hear from anyone who has tried either of these or maybe just starting out.

I have cut down my sodas, working on for good.  Drinking ALOT more water.  Eating right.  Its going to be a long hard journey, but I am SO ready.

Be sure you know when losing weight is not pushing yourself too hard. If you reach a point when it seems like nothing is coming off...either you are resisting your own means by habit or you have reached your limit. Some women are bigger by fate/circumstance...and fighting it may only make it worse. Be sure you know the difference.

I think only when the weight is a problem in your life...when it restricts what you can do to be happy...is it a real problem. Like, if you were interested in hiking, but the fat kept holding you back from a good pace or climbing to keep up with someone you like being with...then I'd try losing a little. If it is just a matter of "people seem to think of me as a fat freak" psychological babble...then, maybe, it's not necessary to lose weight.

Nah, I don't really worry about people thinking of me as fat freak or fat whatever. For my height, I am not that much off. I seem to hold the weight well. I just want to feel comfortable in my skin again, for myself! My fate is happiness! Thanks for your comment!

Sounds like you have an optimistic outlook...so it can't be all that bad. I wonder what the difference is between the present and your sought after happiness and why that exists if you say you are holding yourself well and not worried about peer pressure.

Work on the profile so people know you a lil better before you start trying to add friends:P I'm a bit "persnickety" about those things.

I'm not sure what it is, I know I felt better when I was at 135. Plus, there was a better selection of clothing. lol

Persnickety, lol, I'm working on it.
