You either have it all at once or none at all. When my life is at its highest drama I am begging for a break, a breather. When I am bored to the point of depression I yearn for the excitement of the "he said, she said" bull shit. The happy road between is rare and short. To be content with viewing the caous without getting invovled is hard, almost undesirable.
When I break up with a boyfriend I always claim all I need is to be surrounded by my friends. let loose and have fun because i was tied down for so long by this other me. After a while I go from ME to WE and all individuality is lost. Every action is taken for US or WE and its called selfish to think of ME or I.
When I am single i dedicate as much time to my friends as I do to a single male when I am in a relationship, but it NEVER seems as suffocating or seclusive. I life for my best friend. Every night is automatic we will be hanging out at some point if not all night. But if we dont, or we part ways through the night, there is no fuss only playful hugs of "I'll miss you."
In a relationship time apart is seen as a problem, as a break, as a need for negative reasons. If people could date as friends co exist people would be so much happier.
Since when did being together 24/7 and saying I Love You every three seconds become the normal requirement of a relationship. What happened to time makes the heart grow fonder? How can a heart grow when its being scooshed?
When did finding "the one" become the priority in life? WHy are people so convinced that if they dont find "the one" they will be forever lonely. It can't be about the sex because you dont need to be in love or involved to get that. Before you found the person you think is "the one" you were perfectly happy. You grew up, had friends, and family. So how does this person suddenly become you life? How do they have this ability to make unlivable without them if for the past how ever many years before them you were breathing perfectly well on you own?
