Yesterday was a wonderful day full of Christmas shopping and holiday fun with my family.
I haven't gotten together with my sister and her children like that in years. (The really sad thing is we live so close to each other!)
Since we live on the coast, we have different holiday activites offered. One of which is the annual Holiday Boat Parade put on by a few different beaches.
The richy-rich decorate their yachts, shrimp boats, and fishing boats with lights, music, people in bikini's...anything they can think of, and parade up and down the water and twirl in circles.
We were lucky enough to get a "front row" seat on a private dock of a beach cottage. All of us were snuggled up with cameras in hand (wishing it were hot chocolate) and braving the bitter cold breeze off the saltwater.
It was a day to be remembered. Here are a few pictures from it. (They are a bit dark, and don't do justice to the experience itself.)

Looks really nice. Wish I'd been there but glad you and yours enjoyed it anyway. :)
