I fully agree with him^. I do not think god should have characteristics. He can be mean or nice, he can be weak or strong, he can be smart or unintelligent. you know?

Assuming it is our job to decide God's characteristics, then s/he would be forgiving, loving (as in making every one of us feel wanted and that we are essential to his/her happiness), generous, empathetic, and completly non-judgmental. S/he would not be allowed to be posessive, judgemental, ignorant, apathetic, or vengeful.

One book. An idiots guide to creating the universe that he skimmed through. It would explain all the mistakes and his contradictions, lies, evil deeds and other obvious bullshit in the Bible. Proving the Bible is false is easy, just like the book of Mormon and the Q'aran. The bible is just the easiest:)

As far as triats go.

1.Bloodthirsty (read the old testament
2.Pro Slavery (read Deu.)
3.Babie killer (read Exodus)
4.Pro incest (read numerous books in the old testament or just ask the one holy family in Sodom, Lot and his two daughters who tagged teamed him)
5. Uncaring. Ask the Jews in the holocaust how much he cares ;)

You can now come up with 50 year old excuses now that have been shot down time and time again, but I derive pleasure from each batch of people to make look foolish.

I think one trait I would like would do, Like any good parent, and tobe fair any bad parent, Just coming around and saying hi will do. And manners cost nothing.

You have no idean who God is and the love grace and nercy He has shown you. If you hate God it is not for what He has done to youe it is what you have not done which is come to Him all HE wants to do is love you and help you throug your problems. And by the way you can not give God what ever characteristics you want He has His the only ones He needs Love and most Holy.

Proving the Bible false is easy? Ok go for it.
1. Bloodthirsty- God did not kill man just for the sake of committing murder or for pleasure.
2. Slavery- Cultural slavery at the time in history was not the same as slavery was in America's past and had more to do with servitude to settle debts.
3. Baby Killer- The firstborn of all the land except those protected by God's instructions were punishment to those that failed to heed the previous plagues sent by God. God excersied his divine right to bring about punishment, but in order for that to be wrong in killing children you must ask what happened to them after death of this world.
4. Pro Incest- No it is not. Just because the incident took place between sinners ( and yes we are all sinners and fall short ofthe glory of God) does not mean it was God ordained or approved of.
5. Holocaust- Because God didn't save them? Or did he? What other attrocities might have occurred had he not called them home? They may all be in a better place now.

minus jealousy, vengeance and anger not to forget neediness.Ideal god would be one who loves all unconditionally with kindness, compassion,caring,patience consideration and understanding...forgiveness is not required and humility is taught enduring selflessness to keep from spoiling his children,who have abused their own free will.
