SPLAT
say goodbye to graceful goodbyes
sure, i was fine if i thought i would see you again
but if i knew it was a final goodbye
i was either sobbing or sloppy
i echo job:
the thing which i feared has come upon me
my hellos did not keep up with my goodbyes
and now only i hear my hellos
bouncing off of the opposite walls
the fairy tales i have always believed in
were full of love revived
of friendship reclaimed
bet i believed in fairy tales
longer than any human
