Hello world.
As a thinking person, I guess I should have found thoughts.com many clicks ago. I was listening to a lecture from a harvard guy, posted on the open culture site -oculture.com, and one thing led to another. If relationships moved as quickly as things can on the web, many of us would be matched, wed, separated and back together again in no time. I know that's optimistic. But divorcing is too easy. Not that it shouldn't be, but as one who is entertaining the idea daily, suffering is required even for that to go well.
I started and ended my blogging career five years ago. I'm ready to return to daily ruminations. I called my first blog "Room in nations." The best thing about being online is that other people are online. Stuff put up online is cool for as long as ice is cool after it's out of the fridge. The value of things melts quickly over time. What seems to be needed is for those things to be a catalyst for other things. But nothing catalyses like people with people. It's really the thing. OK, all for now.
Ciao
