It sounds like the only way out is to find another job. Otherwise you will forced to deal with it everyday. Everytime you free yourself you will be sucked back into the vacuum.
An affair can be emotional, it does not have to involve sex. Just think about married life, it is not only about sex. You still have those emotional bonds that hold the two of you together.
My advice is run........far far away. Make yourself physical separated from this individual and get back on track with your marriage. (posted in
