 Just A Thought: Darfur!

It’s more than AIDS killing people in Africa, there’re people killing people as well. Big money is backing and supporting today’s modern day Genocide occurring in places like Darfur. Time goes by and politicians make tons of money through meaningless talk while over 200,000 are murdered and raped, 2 million turned into refugees, and even more in extreme need of help. Is the UN really working on their international affairs as hard as they should or are they as useless as everyone says they are? I’m aware that the value of life pales in comparison to the value of money, but I guess the value of African life doesn’t even shimmer. I guess it’s cool to have your face on television supporting the fight against Aids but not the fight against malicious murders and rapes. I do believe Saddam was hunted down for crimes against humanity, and later trialed and hung like this was the 15th century. Is Omar Al-Bashir less of a threat or more of a political force to be dealt with, maybe it’s the fact that the free world is so deep in the lost Iraqi war that the rest of the world feels it can run wild without any real punishment being handed down. I don’t know what it is, but whatever it is needs to be solved right away. One more thing, here’s a question to the warm hearted celebrities, who I must say are in a small way helping out. Is it Aids that’s the leading cause of death in Africa or is it Neonatal causes, respiratory infections, Diarrhea, Malaria, or Measles. Why are we dieing at such an alarming rate?
