Posted by brainstormer 2008-05-09 00:07:04 I thought a showdown between Obama and Huckabee would have been gratifying, and Id be happy with either. Now, I dont know what to think. I just dont want McCain. And, since it is a large responsibility, and I know no one for such a spot, I cant write anyone else in.

Posted by factual 2008-05-09 10:33:38 Come on. The standards of performance and conduct have been so severely eroded they don't even exist anymore, at least of any quality degree. Likewise for the leadership we now seek, from top to bottom. The general public's sense of value, responsibility and honor is so bad they don't want real leadership, now that this country so badly needs it. Won't want anyone to take all those free handouts, I am entitled programs away, besides, we're now conditioned to believe good is bad, bad is good and there is nothing wrong with violating every natural process, processes that nature intended to ensure a healthy,viable human race, and society, homosexual acts are not only now considered normal, yea right, but elitist. So, why would we want real leaders who would do the right thing, upset the whole sleazy downward spiral to real destruction. None of the leadershiip is quality, just a matter of the lesser to two, well three evils, in this case I would have to say, MaCain is the lesser.
