| Hillary's Hopes Are Fading |
|
As the Democrat primary season heads into next month the race between Senator Barack and Senator Hillary Clinton is all but officially over. Senator Obama has what appears to be a commanding lead in pledged delegates and seems to be securing super-delegate support with each passing day. As the so-called FAT LADY makes her way to the podium to sing, Hillary supporters around the country are left with bleak and gray images of a campaign that simply couldn't rise to the challenge of a more polished and positive outreach candidacy of Senator Obama. Who can compete with that winning smile? Who can compete with a message of Hope and Change, especially considering the downturn of the economy and two wars ravaging our Defense Department's budget and morale? If Hillary has learned anything from this experience she should have learned that she simply got beaten to the right message to deliver amid these sad and bleak times as our nation copes with high gasoline prices, putting food on the table, mainatining our mortgage payments, etc. Yes, Senator Obama did a great job of reading the political landscape and fitting his message of Hope and Change into mainstream America.
