The woman wrapped in the black trench coat on the street corner did not appear out of place. Of course, the hour of the day had to be taken into account as well, being three A.M. Yet, none of this was unusual for him to see. After all, he was quite used to being awake at the oddest hours of the day. Situations such as this one were not particularly new for him. As he brought the car to slow near the corner the woman gave the signal, the simple motion of dropping a white glove by the side of the road.
