I was SO tired this morning, I didn't get up when I heard Ann moving around. Poor thing - she started work at 6am this morning. I slept in until 7am and that ended up making me late for work. I'm still tired now.
This morning, I drank a large glass of water and poured in about an ounce of Chlorophyl. I took a multi-vitamin, 1000mg Vitamin C, and my Sam-EE.
I changed the poultice this morning and the used dressing had a residue of discharge from the nipple. I made a new poultice to wear today (soaked in Swedish Bitters - a drawing compound), I also took a quick drink of the stuff - foul. I tried to put Glad Wrap over it to seal it and keep it moist during the day - just one more routine to fit into the morning. Within a few minutesĀ the pain started and increased. It came in waves for a while. Now (it's around 9am), it's eased. I might try to tape all around it to seal it.
I'm still tired. Will go to the shops and get some grapes for today. I'm getting some avocado as well. Ruth tells me to eat *slippery* food - food that the system doesn't have to work hard at digesting. Sounds reasonable to me. On the weekend, I had a large salad - piled high - and although it was made up of all good stuff - it was just too much to digest, you know? I couldn't get to sleep for hours. I won't make that mistake again.
So, my pattern for today is plenty of water, grapes, some avocado and maybe some mandarins. Maybe some mushrooms with cold-pressed olive oil for dinner this evening.
Oh dear, I've come to work and forgot to bring the Sodium Bicarbonate. It's pharmacy-grade and is labelled *urinary alkaliniser*. Just another help to clean the system.
