Thank you for visiting and participating in this blog.
It has has been created in honor of our beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend Anthony Chapa who was born in Germany on June 14, 1974 and entered eternal life on November 24, 2006 at the age of 32.
Known for his compassionate heart, kindness, wittiness and sense of humor, his skills and dedication as a respiratory therapist, his love for children (especially his beautiful son Cyrus), adventurous spirit, his enthusiasm and his unforgetable smile and extraordinary kindness which continuously touched the lifes of so many people.
We will remember him and keep him in our hearts forever.
Anthony lived in several places during his lifetime. He went to Highschool in California (Redondo Beach), lived in Phoenix Arizona where he worked at the Baptist Hospital, lived and worked at the hospital in Danville Virginia and also in Cheyenne Wyoming. He also travelled to Alaska and several other places, so many of his friends are all over the country. I am hoping that through this blog some of you can connect, Of course anyone else is invited to join this blog.
Anthony's death was ruled a suicide by the Cheyenne police department, but many questions remain surrounding the circumstances of his death. Some of the facts don't add up. In other words, with due respect, the Cheyenne police department did a sloppy job. Therefore I am hoping to also find some answers and/or new insights.
You can check the different categories and archives to locate the different questions.
God bless and keep you all!
Below is an email Anthony sent to us a few days before he left this earth. (we're not sure if he wrote it himself or came across it somewhere, but either way it truly spoke to him) It is and inspiration and food for thought for all of us:

Subject: Stronger tomorrow
You can hide things about yourself from just about anyone, but you can't really hide them from yourself. You know what you're up to, and that's important. Because the person you are to become tomorrow is always watching the person you are today.
How can you live this day so that your future self will find strength and inspiration? What can you do that will make the person you'll be tomorrow proud to have been the person you are today?
You know who you are right now, you know what you're doing, what your motivations are, what kind of attitude you maintain. You know and control the real you. Let the person you are today push you forward, positively into the future. Soon you'll look back on today, and what you see can either give you strength or bring you regret. Choose your actions so that what you do today will truly make you stronger tomorrow.
