I am not just tired I am exhausted.
Mom has been keeping me so busy. She is feeling a tiny bit better. Thank you everyone for any and all prayers.
Kenny is in NJ again. I looked for him on the GW Bridge, but as luck would have it, today just wasnt the day for me to see his truck again. Tomorrow morning he will be in VA, then on to at this time points unknown.
I know its foolish thinking, but I wish it were a week ago last Friday again. Then I would be having my weekend with him to look forward to again.
I so totally enjoyed our time together.
I keep mentally kicking myself in the butt. I am a picture hound, I take pictures of literally everything. But for some reason when Im with Kenny, I totally go brain dead. I hardly pick up the camera. There were several times I could have gotten pictures of Pocket playing in his beard, and didnt. Oh and just tons of others. Silly me.
Today was the kids first day back at school. Well for one, the other, my grandson, it was his very first day.
He is now a Pre-K kiddo. The start was a little rough for him and his Mom, but they will be ok.
Hard to believe they are both now old enough to be in school. Now his next milestone will be the first tooth to come out.
Today is also the 10th anniversary of my grandmothers death. Had she lived, she would have been 89. I miss her, she was 4 foot nothing (4'6" actually!) and a spitfire deluxe!

Hey kiddo just checking in. Hopefully you are getting some much needed rest. Don't worry about missing pictures, the memories of your weekend will be with you always.

I'm playing catchup today. How sweet that your baby grandson is now in kindergarten. Time goes by so quickly. You used the word spitfire to describe your grandmother. . .I use that to describe my own mother. It's hard to remember to take pictures sometimes when you are so wrapped up in enjoying the moment. You need to teach Pocket to take pictures of you and Kenny together!! :)
