Thank you Prelude for the uplifting words.
Well, after I had stressed myself silly, he did call, turns out he had misplaced his phone.
He told me not to worry at all that he totally understood where I was coming from concerning Mom. He told me that he above anyone else should understand considering that he had been in just the same position 1 1/2 years ago. Duh....I didnt think about that.
So things are back on track, I am staying here with Mom. He will be coming here on his next home time. And we are all happy campers!
Then he had to admonish me for not telling him about my feelings before. I know, I should have, I did a little but not fully. Its not because I don't trust him. I do, very much so. Its just that I have always had to keep so much to myself to prevent conflict and such that it was always in someways easier. Its going to take me a little while to realize that I can share some or in this case all of what is going on in my screwed up brain.
Today is Wednesday, Mom and I always go to our favorite Mexican restaurant and have fajitas, she has beef I have chicken. So we have dubbed Wednesdays 'Fajita Wednesday'! We will also be going to Wally-World. Which means I will for sure get several laughs in today watching Mom on the shopping carts they have. I'm sorry, but it is funny, she runs over damn near everything, has almost run over me a time or two! Kenny always jokes that we are going to get one of those flags to put on the back so we can keep track of her and a little bulb horn and a caution sign. He also has already picked up some driving gloves for her! LOL!
I am a little down today, but it will be OK. If Mom wasn't in bad health I would be joining Kenny on the truck and seeing a lot of country I haven't ever seen before. I have only been to Texas of course, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, California and Oregon. But that will come when its time.
I hope that everyone has a super fantastic hump day!

I'm glad things worked out with Kenny, I thought they would. It sounds like you have developed a good relationship with him. Maybe you can take a short trip with him and try things out. How long is he gone for?

Yes, we have an excellent relationship, and he loves Mom too, which is really nice.
We are hoping he gets routed thru to California then I would be able to go with him for a few days, without having to leave Mom for an extended amount of time.
He is generally on the road 4-5 weeks at a time.
