Well, Monday I had to take Pocket to the vet, he was being very snappy and didnt want anyone to mess with him.

Turns out he had the same problem that he did just about a month or so ago. His anal glands were infected. We wont go into detail over this other than to say, its stinky and gross.

This little trip to the vet cost me $150.00. Merely because he was being snappy and the doctor didnt want him snapping his pinky off when he was squeezing his anus. OK, well maybe a little detail there. OK, this is a 4 pound dog, tiny, I have had him get really snappy with me, and he doesn't even break the skin. I think the vet was just a big old wienie!

Well, now, today, Pocket arose out of bed, snappy and chasing his tail and being a little turd. So, off we go to the vet for a recheck. Vet suggests that he get neutered and that will alleviate some of this problem, to further do so, he is going to take out the glands.

Now this is where I got extremely lucky. This costs like $100.00, which I told the vet that I cant afford that. The county that I live in gives out vouchers for spay/neuter operations, which means that I will be able to have this done for Pocket for free.

Now my poor little dog is going to be ball-less. :(

But, in the end this will be a better thing, as the vet said that this condition can become chronic, and we surely don't want that.

Other than that, things are things. Life continues to go along as it always does. And believe it or not, I am still waiting on rain! I don't think its ever going to rain again!
