Well it still hasn't rained. Yesterday the wind blew like I don't know what. And doesn't look like we are going to get any rain anytime soon.

Kenny is up around Ohio right now, will be going down to Oklahoma, now he has seen tons of rain. I keep telling him that isnt fair! LOL

Normally he washes the truck fairly often, and normally when he does we get rain. With all the rain he has been going thru he hasn't washed it. Mom keeps telling him, Kenny please wash the truck!

We are going from winter to summer, just a few weeks ago I was still wearing a jacket, now I'm in shorts.

Now another part of my story. My sperm donor (father) he left before I was born and I didnt find him or even find the need to find him until I was 27.

A year ago in October he found out that he has squamous cell carcinoma. It is located in the lymph node of his neck and his tonsil. Most cases when this is located soon then the survival percentage is very high. That is provided that you receive good medical attention and all that. Now thing is, my father is very very vain. Thinks he is a looker and all that. Never mind that he is at present time 62. He wouldn't have the surgery that would have quickly and most likely wouldn't have required chemo or radiation because it would have left a scar on his neck, and ruined his looks.

He opted to try a alternative way to beat this. He went on a search on the Internet for the "magic bullet" and all this stuff. Then he heard from a church group that knew of a person that knew of a person that had tried this holistic and herbal remedy and they were now cancer free.

So he contacted this man who is an herbalist supposedly and at the cost of about $2000.00 a month this man sends him these concoctions that will cure him.

Told him that it would be 6-8 months and then he would be totally cancer free. I call BULLSHIT on this.

Granted he is still alive, altho he didnt start this until this past September.

He is now experiencing severe bleeds, the tumor on his neck and tonsil have grown, they have also developed pustules that leak out fluid that sometimes also bleed. And meanwhile all this time this voodoo doctor keeps telling him that this is normal, and that he needs to keep taking his herbs and in 6-8 months the tumors will be gone and he will be totally healed.

I fully expect that I will lose my father by the end of summer, 6 months tops. He has lost in excess of 100 pounds. And is currently experiencing more bleeds.

I am not a novice when it comes to cancer. I have lost several loved ones to it. Nursed my mother in law the whole time she had it till she died.

My uncle had the same thing that my father (whom I call the Noodle) has. He had the simple little procedure done and has been cancer free for 4 years now. 

All of this because of vanity. Sad, sad, sad. 

Anyways....There is another part of my life for you all. 

Oh....I found out when I found the Noodle that I had 2 brothers and a sister. My mother never had anymore kids, she had cervical cancer when I was 4 and had to have a hysterectomy.
