here i am walking alone on this road
as silence takes over the night
walking blindly to a destination of the unknown
looking up to the heavens
i see the moonlight shining down
the stars sparkling beautifully
searching internally
i realize how my life is
i am a lonely soul
a life full of incompleteness
a heart left with emptiness
as my feet trembles to move forward
i could feel a sense of coldness
creeping through my skin
i hear the whirlwind as it blows along my way
needless to say
here i am battling it with my strength
as it slowly weakens me
but i am capable to mend
with the vulnerable pain inside
for there is a season
where we are dealt with struggles
but we are not given
something we cant handle
with might
we can overcome any obstacles
your most profounding moments
are in your darkest days
to choose to live righteously
is a constant daily battle internally
