its time to put aside the desires of my own heart
and find the passion towards another
by doing the little things and making a small difference
being selfless itself is an everlasting reward
even if it was to put on a smile on ones face
the greatest gifts in life are the moments we cherish
the people surrounding us
those who pour their time and devotion
when we fall, they are there to catch us
correcting any mistakes done
planting seeds of truth
pouring water to our souls
when we are thirsty
cleansing and refining our hearts
when we are wounded
witnessing each daily trials
providing strength when we can't do it alone
through the dark wilderness
they guide us with their light
when we are thrown into the fire
and walk through the pits of hell
they stand beside holding onto our hand
two is better than one
when one falls, the other lifts them up
iron sharpens iron
