everyone has a destiny to fulfill
a duty to accomplish
a calling to pursuit
a mark to leave behind to those who enter our lives
a reason for their stay, a reason for their leaving
we chose the people we let into our hearts
for they have a place in there and a piece of us that we offer
we sometimes open up the door to the ones that doesnt belong
teaching a lesson to be learn
we get scarred and wounded by people we least expect
we fall for one's charm only to experience the feel of pain
at times those who matter puncture our hearts
leaving a scar as a reminder of what's significant
they may intend to harm, but God has a far greater reason behind it
one we sometimes do not understand
a puzzle we cannot put together, but himself, the creator
what matters is the permanent scars left behind by the people who have crossed upon our lives
sometimes its to show us the light from the dark wilderness we face
a suffering to experience what happiness is really about
dealing with an anguish of grief to gain comfort
letting our own bitterness get a hold of us
yet to learn genuine forgiveness
to take risks and let go of our own set of insecurities
by reaching one's hand to gain the value of trust
to believe and hope for what is not seen and hope for it to come to past
we grasp hold of what is important and its values
learning faithfully to walk blind
putting aside the walls of protection
and opening the door as an opportunity to know
the genuine meaning of what love is
to fly freely and be one's self without judgement
we leave behind our own set of permanent tattoo
to those who have walked our paths
